Seemed to work well
It would have been nice if we could have actually seen Jude on stage. We couldn't see her with the piano set up on the floor.

Love the venue! Always friendly folks running the show, KCRW DJ’s are the best and some of my dear friends. The music was eclectic and diverse and great to listen to and experience! I’m a lucky girl to live in this little town with such amazing music- minded people!

Jude Johnstone gave a remarkably brilliant performance at Painted Sky last night. Backed by excellent cello and violin play from Bob Liepman and Brynn Albanese, Jude created an intimate atmosphere with her piano play, vocals, large repertoire of her written work, all interwoven with mesmerizing banter of her many years in the music business. She appears to be at the peak of her powers. Highly recommend!
The concert was memorable I especially enjoyed the stories that proceeded each song And the songs were poetic and meaningful
Great show. First time I have ever seen Jude and my son and I loved the event. She told great stories and her music was wonderful.

Great venue. Rough House was excellent.
Appreciated the spacing of the seats. Music was well done and the prices at the bar were great. Thanks for giving us locals something to do!!
I'm usually very generous with artists starting out on their creative journeys but last night stood out as two of the worst performances I've ever seen, even for free. The first guy was terrible, off key, too loud. The second band was worse. Whose eardrums weren't blown out by their caustic retro acid rock? The show was so loud my guest from out of state asked if we could leave. We aren't young and have seen a lot of music, but last night's show seemed almost abusive.
Brad Stock is an awesome talent. He plays a great guitar and interesting vocals, and has assembled an excellent band to blend with his unique and mesmerizing sound. This was the opening concert for Painted Sky's new location on Main Street in Cambria, and it was a winner!
We loved Rough House. However, sound level was up higher the whole evening than we've ever experienced at any of these events previously (which one of the musicians mentioned himself), so it concerns us enough as to whether we would attend again. Sorry.
