Several years ago Hilary was seeking new events for the senior center she worked at and approached me to see if a composer friend of mine might agree to be interviewed. It was such a success that we have been doing it ever since on a monthly basis. As we move forward, our objective is to offer it on a weekly basis. These interviews offer a great insight into the creative process of composers and they enjoy the opportunity to present their work to an appreciative audience. We are privileged to be a part of this inspiring project.
Hilary was brought up in Melrose Massachusetts and is a talented artist who also teaches tai chi and strength training to Senior Citizens, is an event coordinator for a senior center, and during tax season helps the Don Young CPA firm file taxes online.
Andrew works in medical product development by day, and in his spare time composes music and interviews fellow composers. He also performs his compositions and other classical works in various venues including the Boston Symphony Hall restaurant.
