 Lovely venue run by lovely people!

 First of all, everyone was superfriendly and nice. Then it goes without saying that the show itself was just beyond our expectations.

 We loved the performances, generosity and talent of all singers. The overall atmosphere was fun.

 Outstanding! A new Christmas family tradition. You'll need a bigger venue in a couple of years. And I will travel south to see you this summer.

 Buying tickets on line was confusing. You need some help with your website!

 A great show, wonderful acting and singing. How I wish I could have seen more of what was happening low on the stage! We were on the middle far back in the church, so anything lower than the table top was lost to us.

 It was fantastic!!! Loved every minute!!

 Once again it bothered me so much that you changed the line "there are three kings and one of them is black. " It makes no sense to me. Beyond the fact that changing anything in the music lyrics that I love so well would be hard to accept, the fact that "one of them is like me" makes absolutely no sense really bothers me. Do you think the politically correct police would not like you saying the word black? Also, the kings trios were too loud for that small

 What a beautiful venue! The setting was a perfect match for the vibe of the band’s gypsy jazz, and the sound was impeccable.

 What a wonderful experience at the Barn Opera! Everyone was so friendly, I actually got to visit with the writers! The Opera was wonferful! Such a great evening!

 Always love attending. Everyone makes us feel welcome. The seats are comfortable and it all works seamlessly.

 Ticket purchase and ticket printing was easy and seamless. Covid check and admission was a bit clumsey. But I think we were the first to check in so it probably got better.

 Beautiful venue, amazing acoustics and a warm and welcoming staff.

 Excellent musicians and singers/poets. Loved how some of it related to Brandon specifically.

 We have never enjoyed a musician more. His talent on the guitar was as promise, exceptional! We loved his storytelling as well. And the treat of hearing Josh sing at the end of the show was such a bonus. This was our first time at the Opera Barn. We will be back!!

 However, for the price of the ticket the quality of the food and wine was under par. We hope that Barn Opera will have continued success and look forward to attending future performance productions.

 Beautiful performance but the space was a bit small for the production.

 Beautifully done! It brought back memories of when my high school put on a production in the 70's.

 It was absolutely fantastic. Professional and those VOICES❣️. Wowza. Next year I hope they choreograph the peasants dancing even if it’s a little line dance in the aisle. In all future years I’m taking all my grandkids. It represents the finest of the Christmas spirit. You all filled me with total joy! Thank you. Let the love shine through. May peace prevail in this tumultuous time

 This is a favorite work of mine. I grew up watching the televised version, then went on to perform as accompanist in several productions. The voices were excellent. However, the pianist was disappointing; it seemed as though the score was beyond her capabilities. There were many distracting mistakes and at times, what she played bore no resemblance to what Menotti wrote. Nonetheless, I hope Barn Opera keeps this in the repertoire.

 It was our introduction to the Barn Opera and it was the reason why we would be willing to continue with it!

 Beautiful voices! Wish the chorus knew all their words -- a little ragged compared to the roles.

 Wonderfully performed and sung, this cast does full justice to Gian Carlo Menotti’s evocative and moving opera. Do not miss this fabulous performance!

 The stars show my excitement that I was going to see the production again; I purchased tickets for Sat. night. But - the roads were such that it didn’t seem wise for this 90 year old to be out on them, so my excitement turned to disappointment. I do hope this production becomes an annual event, next year more normal. Thank you!

 The Christmas spirit came alive in the Salisbury church with Barn Opera’s Amahl and the Night Visitors. What a wonderful new annual tradition.

 Barn Opera put on a wonderful production of La Cenerentola. Not only were the voices fantastic but they engaged with the kids so well that the next day my older daughter was pleading to go see it again.

 Their singing was magical. Singing in close harmony and at times in dissonance is very difficult. Stardust was magical and one could see in their faces that they enjoyed singing it. Keen sounded like a human synthesizer who knew that voices could make those sounds? Please bring then back.

 This group was fabulous! The musicians demonstrated amazing technical skills while delivering great renditions of the selected songs. I look forward to seeing them again!

 The barn is a miraculous place!

 This was our first event of the OCMF and at the Barn with both being a great experience. The performers were so emotive and connected throughout the whole performance.

 The Champlain Trio presented a very moving and vibrant concert. I hope to hear them again.

 Bravo to the performers, pianist, producers, and providers of hospitality! First rate opera, stage setting and lighting appropriate for the drama, observing elderly Charlotte at Christmas juxtaposed with younger Charlotte's romantic and tragic love memories. The only knock for me, sitting in an odd number seat close to stage, was the piano location, the full sound affect was diminished.

 I thought the singers were fabulous. Although I had never seen this particular opera I was told by Josh that it was a different presentation but I thought to adaptions were thoughtful and creative. Lack of elaborate period costumes and sets were less of a distraction to the music and singing. Everyone was open and friendly. A real celebration after the Saturday night performance! Plan to return with my family for the spring/summer performances.

 It was another wonderful experience. The music, the singing, the acting, the message. Thank you. Four stars out of five because the Old Charlotte was hard to hear on the side of the audience away from her. She needed to be miked or her words needed to be on the super titles even though she was speaking English. When there was accompaniment to her speaking, it was even more difficult.

 I was astonished to see everyone with tablets! It was very silly! The males all looked great, while the females- all dressed in different outfits- didn't. I think that I'll stick to your operas. The food was awesome, though the meatballs were...not.Thanks for all your efforts!

 Fabulous show and venue !

 My son, Thatcher, and my two grandchildren, Oprea and Hartley, loved it also. They always have to dash down from Middlebury after hockey practice! They just made it on time! Phew!!

 The lead voices were wonderful though Amahl’s mother was too loud at times… piano made it difficult to hear the singing. But we all enjoyed the opera ages 6-74.. thank you.

 Seamus Egan Project is a great band! Top notch band! We have seen Seamus about 8 times in various bands sine 1995 and never disappoints!

 Loved it! Amazing venue, fantastic show.

 Cozy space for an intimate concert experience!

 Amazing evening in the beautiful Barn! The Seamus Egan Project was masterful and soulful (is that a word?!!!) There is nothing like the energy of seeing people living what they love

 It was a lovely intimate event. Loved it.

 Superb quality of musicianship, beautifully presented. Please bring them back!

 We hope you will consider other non-operetic performers in the future.

 The venue is amazing, the group was sublime, the acoustics in the balcony however were subpar ;-). We’ll be back however!

 I didn't really understand the story until I came home and read it in my opera guide! It was a strange storyline- the comparison and coming together of the two types of performances- but both sopranos and "Bacchus" did a great job! My seat in the front row of the mezz wasn't all that great- too many heads in the way- so next time, I shall buy my ticket earlier! Not crazy about the spiral steps, either...should have just come up the regular side steps. &

 Good choice for a small venue.

 This opera was fun to watch. The acting and singing were really good. This small barn venue is such an intimate place. What we appreciated most, was the subtitles since this opera was sung mostly in German - especially Act 2. With the subtitles, we could follow the storyline. Without them, we would have missed that entirely. Understanding the story was half of the opera. So, thank you so much for those subtitles. Because you do that, we will be back for another opera!

 Great venue with excellent acoustics.

 The performance was great fun with young singers giving their all. We especially enjoyed the soprano playing Zerbinetta. Transporting the location to Vermont was inspiring. And the English subtitles were witty. Thank you very much!

 It was very cute, and the singing was excellent! I shall return! Thanks!

 We thought the production of Don Pasquale was highly original, beautifully performed and a delight to attend. We will be coming to future productions! Linda and Bob Amelang

 What an excellent, fun performance by a thoroughly professional group of artists. Barn Opera makes the art form accessible in a way that was totally unexpected. There is hope for the future knowing these young performers are only just beginning.

 There were some distractions but I am a Nicholas Tocci fan
