Forty-Two Acres

This is a fictional retelling of the extraordinary true story of Harvey and Elsie Jespersen, the founders of Bethany Homes for Children. Beginning in 1948 to 1991, the Jespersen’s transformed 42 acres of land into a place of refuge.  With unwavering faith, open hearts, and the help of countless others, they provided care to more than 750 children, changing lives through the healing power of prayer, music, and love.
