Lisa’s training enabled her to develop a career in London where she won leading roles in West End musicals. In between these roles she toured her own show through England singing songs from musicals cabaret and opera. On returning to New Zealand Lisa sang with Operatunity and won the “Stars In Their Eyes“ competition in Sydney . She currently presents a regular morning concert called Elevenses throughout the Waikato.
Katie Trigg has been studying voice from the age of eight from when she would busk at local events to pay for music lessons. She is now completing vocal studies at the of Waikato University School Of Music. There she won the Waikato University Aria Competition and was chosen to participate in the New Zealand Opera School in January. Trigg has a powerful mezzo soprano voice and she will combine with Lorrell’s superb soprano voice to perform a selection from the best known and hugely popular female duets from the shows.
The show costs only $25.00 per person and proceeds will go to the Waihou Events Society.
