   Really Awesome Show  

     Fabulous evening! Hilarious and a great history lesson.

   Loved it! Loved the small theatre, audience participation, friendly front of staff, costuming, the band, the topic, finding out about Kate Sheppard and her fight for women's equality, the actors and especially the soloists. Kate Sheppard actress was siii good. Whole evening was great

     What a powerful professional performance. The musicians were spot on. The staging and costumes were great. The actors were all so full of life and looked like they were enjoying themselves. Congratulations to everyone involved. Look forward to your next production.

  I have been attending the performances over the last seven or eight years after I returned tibWaihi from almost fourteen years in Sydney. I have continued to be impressed and have enjoyed most immensely

   It’s was an amazing show - so much talent on the stage. a true life story told in such a great way - I could see the show on the big stage too. Congratulations to everyone involved - to those who missed it - you missed a treay

   Brilliant, so funny, so professionally done by everyone. Everyone contributed to the show and all gave 100%. Just loved it. I must also admit the audience got in right behind the actors which was so rewarding for them. Well done to all.

  A fabulous Show! My other half does not like musicals....he loved it. The characters were fun, whilst being angry, therefore very skilled, it was a stage full of colour & talent. We were a captive audience, we laughed, sang along and shed some tears. we love you Kate xx Well done everyone at the Waihi Drama Society.

   Was impressed by the actors who were faultless in executing their lines. The singing was well done and in the whole l enjoyed the performance. Being elderly though some of it was rather loud fir me and I have to say t that my enjoyment was diminished by an audience member in close vicinity to me wearing a very large amount of a very heady perfume which was very unpleasant in a confined space

  A wonderful show that was so professionally presented we could have been in New York! It was two hours of education and entertainment. Well done Waihi Drama. 👏

   Friends and I were very happy we had gotten together and attended the show . The talent hard work and effectiveness of the people involved was so noticeable . The set up right from walking into the lobby , greeting , foyer display and cast bio pics , to the stage set and costuming were superb . The cast and crew did a stunning performance and job . Cheers

   Great play, staged wonderfully. I was transported to truly horrible places.

   John's embodiment and expression of the many characters he portayed was astonishing. He wove his intercultural tale in disciplined dance and powerful voice bringing our history and cultures alive in a way I have not experienced before. For me it was profound.

     I felt shaken and moved to tears by this heartfelt performance. I know nothing of the court proceedings and this was a big eyeopener… Thank you so much Cassandra for your incredible touching portraying of how things work…

   The singing was much to loud. But the story was very interesting.

   Absolutely blown away by the talent portrayed on stage last night from the entire cast. Congratulations ladies, Edwin and crew for yet another hugely successful show, well done.

   I thought the casting was great. The scripts an honest relatable insight into women's internal dialog uses. Funny, desperate and recognizable characters. Caricatures at times but still very real. All the actors had developed their characters and drawn on their emotions to present their struggles and dreams without seeming too tragic. The strength and resilience of women everywhere was the overall theme. Congratulations all.

     A shame it wasn’t very well attended. The actor did well and the monologue was believable and poignant

   Very interesting 🤔, food for thought... Chris was so able to put the emotions into it, we really thought he was talking about his own life...

    Wonderfully done & a really good laugh

   We took some friends that have never been to the theatre before, they really enjoyed it and laughed and laughed. So it was a hit.

   Beautifully crafted set and so magically performed. So unique and a true gift to experience live guitar playing, singing, puppetry and such stagecraft on stage. A really lovely experience!

  All four of us (two Kiwis and two Brits) greatly enjoyed this production - we thought the script was excellent, the acting brilliant and very moving and the direction very controlled. An impressive achievement.
