Review your experience with Upland Brewing Company
The service was good with our server. The buffet was mediocre and consistency was off such as the cold food temperatures. When I did have good hot food it was good. The desert bar was a disappointment and it ran out early.
Food was not hot, it was hardly even luke warm.
This is a perfect location to view the fireworks. I would have appreciated extra lines for purchasing food and beer. My boyfriend missed one of his favorite planes because he was in line for over 20 minutes. The food looked great in description, but was cold. They did supply enough portapots, as I never had to wait in line for one of those. Last suggestion, I would have enjoyed hearing the music that accompanies the fireworks.
Only issue I had & wished was offered was that the airshow was broadcast over speakers so we could hear all about the air show & the various different planes as they went over. Airshow is my favorite part of thunder & would love to hear more about the planes as they came.
The view of the show from the beer garden was spectacular and the servers were very attentive and friendly, but I will have to say for $14 for two small meatball sliders, I expected the food to at least come out warm/hot. Unfortunately, it came out ice cold so we were a bit disappointed. Otherwise, we had a great time!
We loved the view and ease of food/drinks and restroom facilities. However,the experience would have been a 5 if Upland had been broadcasting the corresponding radio show. As it is, we felt only half involved in the even due to lack of broadcasted show. That aspect was were very disappointing so we will likely go somewhere who provided the entire show experience next year. Would also dim lights prior to fireworks as they were too bright and detracted from the show.
I deeply regret paying $350 for a spot of tall, unkept grass- with swarms of gnats that we literally inhaled and ate! There was no music, no EMCEE…where was DJ Tank?! Everyone was asking that question, including staff and security! Where was the food?? Where were the drinks?? Where was the toilet paper and paper towel?! Where were the games?! I’d like a refund for real!!

Every employee I met and deal with from Upland were kind, generous with information and helpful.
All employees were very friendly, and the amount of food provided was good. We were not able to taste any of the desserts due to few samples. This experience was much better than previous experiences for this particular event. Thank you for a great time! It would be great if next year, there could be some type of announcements during the air show to let the audience know what type of plane we will be seeing, etc. as well as hearing the audio music during the fireworks.
Atmosphere and food were amazing. Bartenders were very attentive.
Our 8 Family members had a fabulous time in Uplands Beer Garden. The Access to the food and Port-a-Potts was very convenient. The only reason I can't give it 5 Stars is because the food in the Beer Garden was COLD. I spent almost $80 on Barbecue Sliders and Mac & Cheese. While the Sliders were tasty, they would have been better hot. The Mac & Cheese was one big clump of cold, inedible pasta. Not at all near Uplands standards. Very Disappointing.
Fireworks air show great. Price gouge on food
Location was great but the management lacked great service; definitely not worth $50/person to sit on the grass with a lot of dog turds. Drinks and food menu was ridiculous!

All of the staff was very helpful, courteous attentive and friendly. The food was delicious.
It was not made clear that the tickets we had would be under an awning. For an air show, that makes a bit of a difference and ought to be noted on the seating map.
Had a blast!! One thought, you are missing a hug opportunity by not having more good merchandise available, especially Upland hoodies for when it gets cold!

My first visit to the Jeffersonville location already has me planning for the next. The bar staff were amazing and attentive on this very busy occasion.
Next time, cut the grass please. It was tall and had so many bugs. Otherwise, I enjoyed the experience there. Great view and decent beer and food choices. The prices were reasonable too.
Awesome food and very attentive and friendly staff!
We came last year and there was a Dj and food this year we walked in 10 minutes later walked out. I could have paid $20 a person and had a band next door

I wish there had been more desserts (I did not get any) and perhaps patio heaters. Otherwise, it was a great experience that I would definitely do again.
Our servers, especially Amanda, were excellent. Friendly, attentive, and over-the-top accommodating.
The view is amazing and the staff is so helpful and on top of everything all day.
We loved our table. The view was unbelievable. Would want same table next year. I have a suggestion though about the desserts. The desserts were depleted.by about 6 pm. I think it would be a better idea to offer less choices. Some people were taking one of each dessert so that is probably the reason not everyone got a dessert. You could maybe offer a cookie and cupcake choice. Just not a large variety. Then maybe more guests would get a dessert choice.

How did you like the event?
This was a 5 star experience except for one large detail. Having the background music is an essential part of the fireworks show. The choreographed music was broadcast on 106.9 fm for this purpose. Highly recommend the addition of a sound system that could play fm radio broadcast next year.
The view was great.
Thought is was way overpriced for what we got. Plenty of food but had to pay for drinks. Would’ve been nice to at least have 2 drinks included
Great location
Great area to watch the air show and fireworks. There was a nice crowd but it never felt crowded. Some noise but not too noisy—-easy for friends and family to talk. And chat a bit with new folks.
Couldn’t ask for a better place to be for the event.
The Beer Garden Viewing area at the Uplands is probably the BEST in all of Thunder and well worth the price of admission. The Event itself was nothing short of Spectacular. I particularly love watching the "Rookies" begin to pack up their belongings during the pause in fireworks towards the end, only to have the Grand Finale begin and blow everyone away. We will no doubt return again.

Love the spot, but very disappointed in in sound to hear the air show details and the music for thunder. It took away from the thunder experience. The food was good, but kinda high, which I get. We have been coming to that space for 10-12 years and we love it. Any chance of raising the price and including food? We will definitely check you out again next year. Thanks so much!

Everything was great with the exception of someone taking your purchased bar seat when you have walked outside to observe a different view or meet another attendee. This year the weather was a little cool.
Lines were long for drinks and food.

Wow. Food was expensive
The event was wonderful. Great view. The weather was good.
Very good food and great service server on the patio was out standing
My only suggestion would be to play the official Thunder broadcast over speakers so we could hear the airshow commentary and the music that goes with the fireworks. Otherwise great!
Good Food, was a little cold outside and heaters did not work and coffee machine broke but other than that it was wonderful and staff was very helpful and friendly.
I definitely wish that the sound for the day had been available, for the fireworks show at a minimum. Otherwise, it was a great experience that I would definitely do again.
Will do again next year.
PROS: The front row seat for the air show and fireworks was fabulous. CONS: OVERPRICED * With a $25 lot right next door, the $100/head price tag was ridiculous. * Food was cold and not rotated out to keep fresh. Limited choices. * Part of the charm of an airshow is hearing the planes. The DJ played his music so loud that we all had headaches and couldn't hear the jets. Then when the time came for the music that went along with the fireworks, we couldn't hear anything.

Very pleased with the food and service; made up for the poor weather. I prefer craft beer but some folks in my party wanted more domestic beer options for all day drinking. Food was wonderful; filling and plenty of it. Everyone in my party missed the dessert options, however. Bar staff was amazing. They were all patient kind and conversational despite dealing with serving the same faces all day!
Deserts were very lacking.several in our group were left with only choc cookies. Our server struggled tremendously. Last year we had amazing service. This year it was not up to par. We would have spent much more on alcohol had she not struggled. Several members of our party asked for several beers that they were told were out.

Upland is a great venue for Thunder and we were grateful we had an inside table due to the weather. It was still pretty cold at our table though. The fireworks were great as always, but we were very disappointed that we couldn’t hear the music that went with the fireworks. It would also have been better if the big light on the deck could have been turned out during the fireworks.
Another wonderful day, Amanda was a joy and very helpful, food service was perfect except for dessert, never seems to be any available by 6, still a very enjoyable time
We can say that the experience was the worst we've had and it wasn't because of the cooler and windy weather. - Food selection was bare minimum and not kid friendly. Also cold the entire time. - Beer prices were higher than normal for an event we already had to pay $100 a ticket for. - Music did not switch over for the fireworks until after they started. The value for the price shows given the very low attendence. Need to do better.
It would have been better without the DJ and to hear the commentary during the air show and fireworks. Also, last year you could bring wagons and umbrellas. Although your staff was nice enough to allow us in and not walk all the way back to the car, you should have informed everyone of the changes.

Unable to hear the music along with the fireworks
This year was better with food included but need to work on running out of food and get rid of the DJ!
*Beer Garden Tix* Overall, great location, great view, and good experience. I think my family of 3 will definitely be back and we've recommended it to our friends. I might suggest having the river bank foliage trimmed/cut back to see better and adjusting the speaker volume (it was so incredibly loud, like you were trying to ensure the opposite Louisville river bank crowd could hear it.)

Great venue, price high for only soda and water but food at least was reasonably priced.
Food 1. The food was cold - unacceptable 2. Items that were mentioned to be on the menu were not served or were gone very quickly - salad, hummus, chips & salsa, platters, garden salad, baked dinner rolls, desserts 3. the flow of the line was not set up efficiently. Try using more than one table to serve and allow more space between pans

Had a great time. Airshow and fireworks were basically right in front of you all day. The concert at the Jefferson was a great touch as well. Cant go wrong with great live music. Will be back next year.

The entire event was top notch. The view was perfect, was not overcrowded and all the staff at Upland was courteous and rocked it all day!
Really enjoyed myself. Great place to watch thunder. My only thoughts would be the food should be of better quality and possibly a little more selection. Willing to pay more for the food for a bit better quality. More stand up round tables under the tent would also have been nice. So these are just ideas to improve must say very much enjoyed the venue will return

For their first year, I think they did a great job. Servers were well attentive and food, when available, was pretty good. We enjoyed the day.
Overpriced. Great view but 25 bucks at king fish is a better deal. You’d probably get more people to go even if it was 40-50
Staff, food, and atmosphere was amazing. The only thing that I feel could be improved is the deck area. We were not aware people could bring their own chairs, and set them up on the deck. When we arrived at 2pm there were already chairs set up where people had "staked out" their spot. We had people asking for us to move from the deck so they could put their chairs there. I don't feel like this should be allowed.

Had a good time. Food part seemed unorganized. Wait staff was great. Just need to tweak the overall experience for the price of the tickets. We have been going to this location for several years before it was upland. Know it was the first year and buckheads went through the Same thing.

Only thing I would have changed is…. I thought drinks were included based of your website (soft drinks) and they were not. Also some of the food was cold and I was the 3rd person in line.
