One of the biggest shows currently touring UK theatres is coming to Sutton Coldfield Town Hall in May 2025 and will feature all the hits songs of Shakin Stevens incredible hit making and chart career.
“Whole Lotta Shakin – The Shakin Stevens Story” is an award-winning tribute show to the prolific music success of Shakin Stevens. The show is a nostalgic celebration, jam packed with feel-good Rock ‘n’ Roll!
Shakin Stevens, Welsh born from Cardiff, dominated the UK singles chart in the 1980s. Indeed, he was the biggest selling singles artiste in the eighties with hit after hit.
Performing as Shakin’ Stevens, West End star Rebel Dean will guide you through a full audio-visual spectacular with his live band, including rare footage and images which tell the story of the rocking Welsh boy and his rise to chart-topping superstardom.
The show features all Shakin Stevens unforgettable songs including number one smash hits “Green Door”, “Oh Julie”, “This Ole House” and the Christmas classic, “Merry Christmas Everyone”.
The show will also feature classic songs which were covered by Shakin` from artists such as Eddie Cochran, Chuck Berry, Ritchie Valens and Elvis Presley.
