Great website.
The Edge Theater was a nice change of pace. The space was quaint and inviting. The hosts were so attentive and welcoming and made sure we wanted for nothing.
Intimate setting and exceptionally welcoming!
The experience was good, overall, but some of the show's "mature" content was unnecessary and distasteful.
Nice experience.
I work here

Gerald and Charles offered insight on their journeys, separately and together. Naomi provided some beautiful renditions of her chosen tracks with Huey's assistance. Troy offered a short presentation from Langston Hughes and a long oration on his HBCU experience George was dynamic with his presentation of 50 Shades of Black Danielle offered a spoken word piece from her poetry anthology. Jen, Janis, Geraldine and Janell provided a beautiful reception and silent auct
I attended and also invited a guest to the Gerald Rivers & Co. reception. It was, indeed, a very “uplifting and joyful” experience hearing Mr. Rivers share about his growing up. I appreciated him introducing his sister, Veronica. Hearing Mr. Holt singing was also a joy. I really did like the performances of Troy, George, Naomi, and Danielle. I liked the tasty refreshments, Stella’s merchandise, and items in the silent auction. Thanks for the surprising/thoughtful gi

I totally loved it! The play portrayed excellent stories of current issues that Amercans and immigrants challenge with nowadays. The entire cast of females were exceptionally wonderful. The play was greatly written!
The play was well executed. The actors performed naturally and with great confidence.

I enjoyed the play for the most part. It was set in the 1980s and they made references to ICE, but ICE didn’t exist until 2003. And one of the characters mentioned buying a PC. In the 1980s the families that had a computer share it- the more wasn’t the notion of a personal computer. I realize this is nitpicking, but those kinds of details are why I didn’t give a 5 star review.
Heartfelt, comical, and endearing characters, a great performance!
It was such a wonderful performance by all the ladies. I was truly impressed and in awe of each one.
Amazing play, amazing actors wonderful experience.
The event itself was a very positive experience. For a staff as small it was, they pulled together and the show went off without a hitch. The two-person was more than impressive, as the two of them walked up through this moment in time for two hours and no intermission. The two of them told us a story of what could have been and left us better for it. Thank you for sharing your gifts with us, Shica Niblett-Servance.
The actors were wonderful and embodied the spirit of the moment. This was a truly remarkable production. Thank you!

I really appreciate the acting of both people, especially the male actor who was visually and hearing impaired!
Excellent, both players were very good. I love a good surprise and the angel I did not see coming. This was my wife and my first time at The Edge. We'll be back.

Gerald and Naomi were transcendent and a great kickoff for Juneteenth
Mr. Rivers was powerful, knowledgeable and empowering . The young lady that sang had the most amazing, emotion provoking voice! Such a blessing and was SO worth seeing!!
Spectacular show and performances!
Cast was amazing. Excellent show.
Very engaging. Actors were all very good. Appreciated the warning at the beginning regarding the language.
It was absolutely amazing. This was my first time attending a play and its effects left me emotional at the end. I appreciate the actors and their dedication to their characters. I will definitely be back for more productions.
The EDGE Theatre offers a high-calibre, cozy environment, bringing the audience right up to the action. The stage for this event was immaculate and the attention to detail was immediately evident. The actors gave a lively performance and did justice to Mamet's characters - a challenging thing to do given the typical Mamet style. Looking forward to attending the next performance!

I will be honest. I love that you are doing cutting edge (especially for Lubbock) theatre. And I loved some of the acting in this show, but some was on the weaker side. I had read the play previously and I felt that the second act was a bit confusing the way it played out. However, I loved the message in the end and then ending was truly the best part!
Excellent play presenting excellently. Probably my only slight complaint was the classroom on the small tv. Might have been nicer on a screen. But I understand the costs and limited equipment in a theatre.
Fantastic production. Very clever and funny. The actors performed brilliantly and the direction was clearly well thought out. I will definitely keep an eye out for future events!
The play was terrific. Witty writing and really great actors. You all did a terrific job.
Amazing play it was great and it was a hit.
Perfectly performed. Great play. Nice to join the discussion afterwards.
