The Golding Girls by Shona M Wilson and directed by Anthony Gray. This play tells the story of four hormonal women who find themselves thrown together during four weeks of New Zealand's Covid lockdown. With very different backgrounds and personal issues to bring to the “party”, it’s a challenging situation for all four women as they try to overcome their differences and find some common ground during their time together. There’s plenty of frustration, confrontation, anger, compromise and excitement on show as the characters are forced to live with their differences. And yes, there’s plenty of funny bits to lighten the mood. But how will it all end?

PLEASE NOTE: This production marks the Society's 75th Anniversary celebrations. Our final performance on Saturday 17th August will include a glass of free bubbly on entry and an invitation to attend our after-show party along with our invited dignitaries. Society members and the public are urged to book early to avoid disappointment. This performance will be a sell-out. Evening dress would be appreciated.
