 Always a great experience!!!

 Purchasing tickets was quick and easily accessible. I love the variety of shows and the ambiance of the building.

 Other than a hard time hearing some of the dialogue, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience.

 First time there! Great play and I could follow along because I saw the movie before. Great cast and a great time. Will go again!

 The theater was in great shape! The prices were just right, and the people were very friendly. Very nostalgic feel, with a feel of the big city. Such a wonderful hidden treasure right in our backyard! I could think of no better way to spend an evening! I hadn’t been back to PLT in over 20 plus years. I’m so thankful that I came, because now I know where I can bring my family and enjoy a great evening with laughs, popcorn, enjoyment the screens just don’t give.

 Loved it. Followed the movie that I have seen too many times to count. Funny too. I took a friend who had never been to the Portsmouth Little Theater and she loved it also and I am sure she will want to come back. Thank you for having them s theater in our community.

 I’ve been coming to PLT for many years and have to say this was one of my favorite shows hands down! The director captured the fun and comedy from the movie to the stage, well done! Cast was hilarious and I laughed the whole time! Director, cast, and crew, thank you!

 I would give 10 stars if I could!! It was sooooo goodand so funny!!! We LOVED it!

 I absolutely loved it. It was light and funny and the cast did an amazing job. Got to give a shout out to the character Randy, he was hilarious and did a fantastic job.

 A little slow to start but didn't have to wait long at all for the play to grab me and my wife. Glad we saw it! What until dark was VERY GOOD!!

 Such a fun filled night! The venue, the decor, the food and the atmosphere was just what we needed to put a smile on our face. It’s a good time getting the community to come together and socialize with the PLT family.

 I enjoyed PLT’s “Shawshank Redemption” on Sunday afternoon immensely along with two very special friends. Hat’s off to all individuals involved with the performance. We are fortunate to have our local PLT available in our community. Congratulations to all the staff.

 WOW!! WOW! I can't describe how amazing this experience was!! And they said that many of the actors were new at this! WOW!! I can tell you they KILLED IT! I am going to the web site and purchase a season ticket for the next season!! Can't wait!!! Such an easy going, no fuss, close to home, evening!

 One of the best shows hands down..all of the actors were incredible. The stage set was phenomenal. Big shout out to kelli for her hard work,Todd for his debut as Tommy(who wowed us and last but not least Andy. You have found your place ♥️

 I loved it except I’m not sure why you tend to purchase Novella’s that have such foul language.

 The show was fantastic- the work the crew and cast put n had to have been phenomenal. I generally loved both the book and the movie, and the performance held up beyond my expectations. Very well done, 10/10!

 The set: AMAZING! costumes: WONDERFUL!! They look alike, while remaining individual. The cast: I'm super super super thrilled to see newbies do just SO WELL!!! the direction, the lighting, the stage crue!! And, Andy Dufrense was PERFECT for the role!!

 A great show that I was looking forward to all year did not disappoint. First impressed by an impressive set. Sound was better than normal. Unique in that it was an all male cast and each with an outstanding performance. Was already a big Shawshank fan so I was hanging on every line from each cast member. Cast was well selected to their respective rolls. Quite impressed overall and looking forward to next season at PLT.

 This was a wonderful play. The actors were great. Directing was awesome.

 Stellar performance last night! A vivid rendition of the movie version with a few twists. The rain was incredible. Masterful touch to the authenticity of the show. Bravo to all the actors. They fit their character extremely well. Will definitely be coming back to this quaint little house for the arts.

 Excellent. Outstanding in every way - the quality of acting, set and costumes. Topic and language were barriers for some of my guests but were expected due to the nature of the topic.

 Amazing show, all the hard work by cast and crew definitely paid off! Highly looking forward to next years shows, this years has been phenomenal!!

 Excellent production, except for the obvious being too many blackouts, but frankly I’m not sure how you would remedy it.

 Great show and great performances by all involved. It’s great to have this entertainment gem in our community. I’m a first season ticket holder, but will definitely be subscribing again for next year. Looking forward to Shawshank in June!

 This was a great production! Great cast, full of comedy, and very well put together! Even brought a first-time play goer with me and he loved it!

 This show was fantastic!!! Director. Eva Martin put together a fantastic cast showcasing every level of talent and humor! From her opening my monologue to the final bows,Portsmouth little theater was in constant laughter all evening. I wish I could give it more than five stars.~ because it’s well-deserved!! Can’t wait to see it again tonight!!!

 Had the BEST time tonight! The comedic timing of this show is bar none just ‘beyond fabulous’ and you will laugh all the way through on this one. Kudos to everyone from the director, to the cast, to the crew. Amazing job all the way around.

 Loved this show! Long show but wasn’t bothered due to the talent on stage! Characters of Violet and Barb were amazing! Looking forward to next show!

 The acting was absolutely phenomenal! This play was longer than others but I didn’t even realize the time because of how entertained it kept me.

 The acting was superb! The set was great. The story was not my taste.

 Outstanding Outstanding Outstanding! All of the cast shined in this one! WOW!! Unbelievable talent. It was very heavy content, definitely not for children. It was long but the acting was so good and so believable you didn’t really notice the tone. It makes you feel the gamut of emotions. Kudos to the directors for perfect casting. If you can get out to see it, do so. You won’t be disappointed! And to Eva Martin and Kasie McCreary all I can say is spectacular performan

 It was too, too long. And I'm afraid, even though the play itself, the acting (I can't believe the talent this year), the set design, all of it was superb and wonderful, the length is going to deter people from attending. Especially, considering its heavy subject matter. However, I attended the opener, and although it wasn't a packed house, the audience did enjoy the show!

 Awesome show, actors were great and the story kept me engaged. The ending where the Aunt reveals her secret, shocking and I kind of felt sorry for the character having to keep the secret all those years. Very well played.

 I can really appreciate all local artistry. The actors were all wonderful and the set was very well utilized. To no fault of the cast or crew, this dialogue lulled a bit at times but, true to the story line the final episode summized the show very well!! The quaint atmosphere and intimacy of this venue certainly make it special. This was another great evening for our Community! Oh, by the way…the advertising for this event was very good. (Local Radio, Social Media 👍

 It was not very good. The actors did a fine job, but I have no idea why the had the characters describe what they were doing like we couldn't see it and also they had a narrator sitting right there! The narrator should have been doing the describing. I also would have liked to see set changes. My daughters High School put on a musical tnat was 100 times better tjan than this.

 Great story brought to life by the wonderful cast. My wife and I enjoyed it thoroughly

 Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol was fantastic! I can't speak more highly of the cast or the crew! What a wonderful time for the whole family!
