Hero's Ruck will be having an event located at a location soon to be verified. Sign-ups at the American Legion 496 Portage Post. Transport Available from the American Legion. We ask that all park at the American Legion located at 1945 Mogadore Road Kent, Ohio 44240. Parking is located at the rear of the building. Sign ups will be at 8AM please come early to get a ride down to the Freedom Trail from the American Legion. The Ruck Event will start at 9:30AM with a little "pomp and circumstance".
After the Ruck, all participants are invited to the American Legion of Kent, Ohio to have lunch and comeradery, with a little music. There will be other groups with tables, including Veteran organizations, first responder groups, vendors and sponsors.
We are looking for sponsors that would love to help with our endeavors. All proceeds go to helping Vets and First Responders aquire a companion animal most exclusively dogs and cats from the Portage County Animal Protective League.
