Sun Power Yoga is an eclectic mix of Iyengar for correct alignment, Sivinanda for breath control and Ashtanga Vinyasa for strength.
The emphasis in the class will be to improve strength, flexibility and relaxation. Asanas (postures) that are held along with a flowing, dynamic yoga sequence will energise the body and mind and will increase flexibility.
In each session alternative positions are offered for those that are less flexible and the sequence can be made stronger for those that want to challenge themselves further, making this class suitable for a range of students.

Sylvia has studied and practiced yoga for over 20 years, completing the Sun Power Yoga Teacher Training and Sivinanda Further Teacher Training courses in London and Turkey. She has deepened her knowledge travelling the world studying yoga and Buddhist meditation in Japan, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
