Classes will take place on the following Saturdays: September 14, 21, 28, October 5, 12, & 19. Each session will run for 1 hour (9am-10, 10am-11, 11am-noon).

We are excited to offer a class this fall that will be focused on advanced tumbling skills on the floor with limited class sizes. The small class sizes (10-12/class) will allow gymnasts to get more reps and more 1:1 work with our coaches in order to help gymnasts progress steadily and master skills on the floor.  The skills that we plan to work on are front & back walkovers, front & back handsprings, aerials, round-off back handsprings, standing tucks, and round-off back tucks. Students will begin running tumbling after standing skills are mastered. 

 Though there is not an age limit, gymnasts must have some prerequisite skills in order to participate. It is important for gymnastics participating in this class to be able to independently and safely perform the following: forward roll from standing to standing position, backward roll, handstand (hold at least 3 seconds) into forward roll or bridge position, bridge to ground from a standing position, cartwheel, and round-off.
