Men’s Basketball Prospect Camp & Visit Day: (Grades 11 & 12)
Players will receive instruction from Houghton College coaches and players on the basic fundamentals of ball-handling, passing, shooting, defense, rebounding, transition, and half-court motion concepts. Players will also get to compete in live action to apply their skills and showcase their abilities. Throughout the day, players will also get to eat in the campus dining hall, learn about the admissions process, tour campus, spend time connecting with current Houghton College players & coaches, participate in a devotional period, and attend Highlander athletic contests!
What to bring
Basketball Shoes, Shorts, Shirts, Water Bottle, Basketball (with a name on it), Change of clothes, shower necessities, and toiletries.

11:05-11:45 Chapel
12:00-12:45 Lunch and Admissions Presentation
12:45-2:00 Campus Tour
2:00-3:00 Program Overview, Film, Recruiting Education
3:00-5:30 Afternoon Workout (Competition Emphasis)
5:30-6:00 Shower and Get to Dinner
6:00-7:00 Dinner with Players & Coaching Staff
7:00 -TBD Farewell (Commuters) or social time with MBB players (Overnight Prospects)

8:00-9:00 Breakfast with MBB players
9:00-11:00 Free Time – Devotions/Homework/Apply to Houghton
- MBB coaching staff and some players conducting a youth clinic at this time
11:00-12:00 Visit with Coaching Staff
12:00-1:00 Lunch
1:00-3:00 Attend Women’s Volleyball Game with MBB Team
3:30-5:30 Open Gym
