Clinic Descríption
This specialized clinic is for softball players who are serious about their future in softball and is designed for players in 7th-12th grade. Players will receive instruction, critique and drills to take home for winter training throughout a day of intense training. Based on the level of the player, instructors will focus on specific areas needed for success. Attendees will have the opportunity to work directly with the coaching staff and players of Houghton College Softball.
Hitters: improved swing mechanics, individual hitting evaluation and mental preparation techniques
Position Players--catching, infield, pitching and outfield: improved fielding techniques, proper footwork, positioning, preparation and mechanics
Location
The majority of the clinic will take place inside the Kerr-Pegula Field House. We may do the fielding portion of the clinic outside if weather permits. Please bring warmer clothes and cleats in case we can go outside for the fielding portion.
