Esteban Ramirez and his quartet ensemble combine his mastery of the acoustic grand piano interspersed with select poetry readings to inspire the senses. With touching ensemble accompaniments consisting of cello, flute, violin, and clarinet, his original neo-classical instrumental compositions will touch your heart and his poetry will move your soul. If you love romance, then you’ll love Esteban!
Born and raised in the border town of El Paso and the youngest of nine children from immigrant parents, he started piano lessons at age ten. A year later he began composing music, changing his life’s trajectory into a world of musical storytelling strongly influenced by Mozart, Chopin, and Barry Manilow.
Today, Esteban travels the country from coast to coast sharing his music, his poetry and spreading romance along the way. He’s released three albums of original piano-based compositions that cover the range of human emotions and experiences, from romance and heartbreak to passion and childhood memories, couched with storytelling – sometimes humorous, sometimes sad – on the inspiration behind his compositions. Esteban performs selections from his three albums as well as a few that will be included in his upcoming/fourth album.
Esteban's music is charming and captivating. His harmonies are unpretentious and direct, with melodies that are heartfelt and refreshingly lyrical as well as visually evocative.

Everyone entering Center Stage Theater (audience and performers) must show proof of vaccination or a negative test. For the test, a PCR test must have been taken within the last 72 hours and an antigen test within the last 24 hours. We continue our other mitigation efforts. The HVAC system for the theater is set to bring in 100% fresh air, we are using CDC-recommended MERV-13 filters, the air is turned over 7.35 times an hour and we also have portable HEPA air purifiers (thank you to the Santa Barbara Foundation!)
You can use either e-tickets, print-at-home tickets, or request Will Call tickets to be waiting for you at the Box Office. There are no social distancing requirements in place for seating. We are keeping in place our ventilation and air filtration mitigation efforts, and our generous use of hand sanitizer. All of our staff are fully vaccinated and performers are either vaccinated or tested negative before performing.
