Children's Ballet Theatre Reviews

   There was no address for the show location, also no instructions ( which entrance to use, if there would be a gallery or a gift table, etc ) there was nothing about the actual location itself. I checked for an address being from north of lansing area I don't know the area well. I had to google the address and pray that it was the correct place I was driving to, then When I arrived I had to figure out what door to go in/ where the auditorium was. It was unnerving.

     Excellent production. Enjoyed all the talented young dancers. The sets and costumes are well done.

   We really enjoyed the performance of the Nutcracker! It was also really terrific to be able to purchase flowers, treats and ornaments at the performance. What a lovely idea! The actual performance was very high quality and entertaining. The young children did a wonderful job and were obviously schooled in what to do if something fell off or was dropped. The mature dancers who had a couple of spills picked right up like professionals and went on with the show.

   Please put the venue address on the ticket.

     Very easy process

  I can't be too brutal because the ballet was danced by children- I could tell it was their last show and they were done. Hardly any of the dancers were smiling. After dancing shows all weekend they were tired, the dancing didn't have any energy. The dancers enpointe kept slipping, there were three collisions on stage of dancers running into each other, the Arabian dancer forgot her dance. Sickled feet everywhere. Clara was so awkward. Sugar Plum was the best of the evening.

   The performances were truly spectacular. And of course, our Granddaughter Caroline Skiba did GREAT🩰🩰 We so enjoyed watching everyone. Feel that this years production was even better / more entertaining than 2023‼️‼️

   We always enjoy the CBT performances we attend. It probably helps that we have a granddaughter whose skills have grown during the years we come to see CBT performances and it's so much fun to see how much more proficient she's become.

   Our group enjoyed this very much!

     We are biased because our granddaughter is part of the cast, but we found it very enjoyable.

    . It was truly amazing and the dancers were fantastic. The entire production was so truly outstanding!!!! I will definitely attend again. So worthwhile for participants and audience both!!!

     The performance was amazing! I took my two daughters and we were captivated the entire time! My youngest daughter cried afterwards, because she didn’t want it to be over and wanted to go back to the performance on Sunday! Having the dancers take pictures after was a wonderful unexpected delight! My girls were head over heels excited! And having Clara (Miss Ava) talk with my daughters about dance for a good 2-3mins is all they are still talking about! We loved it!

 The partnering with the 2 oldest guest dancers seemed very unsafe. I was afraid they were going to drop the dancers and/or cause an injury. They just seemed very unsure of what they were doing and were throwing the girls off of their alignment in turns, at no fault of the girls. Otherwise, it was a good show

     Cinderella was spectacular! The dancers are so talented! The performance was clean and kept my daughter and I captivated the entire time! I seriously thought we had only been there 45 mins and couldn’t believe the perform was 2 hours, it was that engaging! Ticket prices were reasonable and we got great seats!

     Great show for all ages

   I loved it. Years ago my daughter Chelsea (who is deaf) performed in the ‘Twas ballet in Grand Rapids. I came to tears to see her and my granddaughter along with other handicapped children on your stage. This say a lot for your Company and your student to have invited them. I so much enjoyed your presentation very well done. To all that participantes congratulations on a very well done performance.

   Venue was disappointing…show was great!

 What an awesome show! I can't even begin to imagine the amount of work that goes into a production like that. Everyone did a stellar job!

   Loved the performance. The inclusion of the young ladies in the wheelchairs really warmed my heart. Bravo!

   So much energy and joy onstage! Lights, costumes, and stage set were lovely. I enjoyed the choreography and these young dancers’ performance of it.Beautiful way to spend a spring afternoon.
