Director Jan Hřebejk in person!

New England premiere | Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia | 2017 | 115 min. | Czech, Polish with subtitles

Set in the 1940‘s following the end of World War II, this is the second film in Czech director Jan Hrebejk's (Divided We Fall, Beauty in Trouble, Kawasaki's Rose) "Garden Store Trilogy." The owner of an exclusive hair salon in the center of Prague that used to employ most of his family returns home after Nazi imprisonment. The salon was his dearest fulfillment in life, but the war changed everything and everyone. A tragicomic drama of harshly tested love between husbands and wives, brothers and sisters, parents and children.
